Although
our research and testing have yielded many first
rate fastening products, manufacturers and installation
techniques, several products testes have proven
to be cheap imitations of credible products.
Often,
these inferior products and/or the engineering
solutions proposed by non-expert installers, only
provide a false sense of security. The seismic
fastening products and installation techniques
recommended by Secure-it have been extensively
researched and seismically tested by several independent
engineering companies. In addition to our own
research and testing we've benefited from the
results of product evaluations and seismic testing
conducted by NASA, FEMA, the US NAVY and Fortune
500 companies/clients.
Some
of the seismic fastening products investigated
and endorsed by Secure-It have won safety product
of the year awards, and have been selected by
the State of California for earthquake safety.
